Access from Budapest
- By car on main road 2 or high-road M2
Arriving at Vác on main road 2 at the crossing provided with traffic lamps and where you can find the MOL fuel station you have to turn left to the Budapest main street, then after 700 m again turning left you get to the Géza király (Géza King) square.
Coming on high road M2 (tolled road, can be used if having vignette being valid for the whole country or for Pest county) at the Vác-dél (Vác South) exit in the direction of Vác to the Gödöllői road leading to the main road 2, then – as described above – at the crossing provided with traffic lamps and where you can find the MOL fuel station you have to turn left to the Budapest main street, then after 700 m again turning left you get to the Géza király (Géza King) square.
- By Train
From the Budapest Nyugati railway station the quicker way to reach Vác station is to take a Passenger Train S70, or a zoning train Z70 or an expedited train G70 ( Budapest -Dunakeszi – Göd – Vác/Szob ). The official duration of the trip is 42 minutes by S70, 25 minutes by Z70 and 36 minutes by G70.
The duration of the trip by the train S71 (Budapest – Fót – Veresegyház – Vácrátót – Vác) is 1 hour and 26 minutes.

From the railway station walking on street Széchenyi István turn left to the Dr. Csányi László boulevard at the crossing provided with traffic lamps, from where you have to turn again left to the street Báthori Miklós. Walking along this street you arrive at the Konstantin square, then the Budapest main road, from where you can already see the Géza király (Géza King) square. (That is an about 15 minute walk, 1.4 km).
- By Bus
The bus no. 300 starts from the Budapest, Újpest-Városkapu district XIII to Vác. It is advised to get off the bus at the Földvári tér (Földvári square) stop, then walking on the Budapest main road about 750 m (about 10-minute walk) you reach the Géza király square.

Access from the direction of Szob
- By car
Coming from Szob the main road 12 leads to Vác, from which turning to right at the MOL fuel station with traffic lamps you arrive at the Budapesti main street, from which after 700 meters turning left you will reach the Géza király (Géza King) square.
- By train
Coming from the direction of Szob you can get to Vác railway station by the zoning train Z70 or the expedited train G70. Official duration of trip: 30 minutes.

From the direction of Balassagyarmat from the main road 22 you can get on the main road 2 leading to Vác. In Vác, driving on the main road, when reaching the traffic lamps at the crossing with the MOL fuel station, turning right you arrive at the Budapesti main street, from which after 700 meters turning left you will reach the Géza király (Géza King) square.
- By train
Coming from the direction of Balassagyarmat you can get to the Vác railway station without change by train 750.

Access from the direction of Tahitótfalu
Between Vác and Tahitótfalu ferry boat ensures getting across both for the passenger traffic and the motor vehicle traffic, as well.

You can park on the Budapesti main street or the József Attila sétány. A limited number of parking places are available at the Géza király square.
